Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information the An Xtra Pair of Hands website (anxtrapairofhands.co.uk) collects, why, and your rights. It describes exactly what the website does today.
Who we are
An Xtra Pair of Hands provides virtual PA and personal assistant services. You can contact us by email at info@anxtrapairofhands.co.uk.
What this website collects
The only way the website collects personal information is the contact form. If you use it, we receive the first name, surname, email address, telephone number (optional) and message that you type in. The form sends them to us as an email. The website does not keep a database of enquiries.
To stop automated spam, the form runs a small proof-of-work check (ALTCHA) in your browser. It runs on our own server, uses no cookies and sends nothing to any other company. A hidden field catches simple bots, and to limit repeat submissions the server uses a scrambled (hashed) form of your email address, which cannot be turned back into the address.
If you email us directly, we receive whatever you tell us.
What we do with it
We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, for example to give a quotation or further information, and if we go on to work together, to provide and administer the service. We do not use it for marketing or advertising and we do not sell it.
We keep enquiry emails only for as long as is needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and has no analytics, advertising or tracking. It loads nothing from other websites. We remember in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) that you have seen our privacy notice.
Server logs
Like most websites, our web server records technical information about each visit, such as your IP address, the date and time, the pages requested and your browser type. We use this only to keep the website secure and working.
Who else sees your information
We do not share your personal information with anyone else, except where we believe in good faith that we have to in order to comply with the law, a court order or other legal process, to prevent or investigate suspected illegal activity, or to protect our rights or safety or those of others. Your message travels to us by email, so the email services that carry it handle it on the way.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. To do so, or if you have any question about this policy, email us at info@anxtrapairofhands.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
